About

I am a Researcher (RTD-A, INFO-01/A) and Assistant Professor at the University of Catania, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, and a member of the Image Processing Laboratory (IPLab) and of the BiOrg Biometric Research Group. My research focuses on trustworthy computer vision and adversarial machine learning for security-sensitive applications, spanning multimedia forensics, multimodal learning, and open-set recognition. In parallel, I have a background in optimization and game-theoretic modeling for complex networks.
