Certain transformations of basic hypergeometric functions of two variables – II

Abstract

This paper deals with the derivation of certain new transformations for the basic hypergeometric functions of two variables by making use of known summation formulas given earlier by Srivastava [7]. As q ⟶ 1, known transformations for ordinary hypergeometric functions given earlier by Carlitz [2] and Jain [4] are obtained.
