About me

Since March 2018 I'm assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Catania, Italy.

I received the Ph.D. in Computer Science on 2009 from the Department of Mathematics and Informatics and I have been postodoctoral researcher until 2017 in the same department.

My main research interests concern Trust and Recommender systems for social networks and distributed systems, discrete-event simulations, distributed and parallel computing.

Since 2014 I am a founding member of the Society for Intelligent Systems (SIS) and from 2016 I am a founding member of the Autonomous and Robotic Systems Association (AURA).
